Art Description
Grounded in cultural history this Boomerang was hand crafted by Kaanju and Nughi descendant, Donald Enoch, from the beautiful black wattle tree. I, Ayesha Woibo a Binthi Warra woman have enjoyed the privilege and pleasure to honour this item with my own cultural heritage which is forever inspired by the spirit of the land and beach scrub in Cape York.
This artefact is 100% Aboriginal made and celebrates our deep connection to Country.
This artwork was created on Gimuy Walubara Yidinji in Cairns, QLD.
