Art Description 

‘Bubu Dabarr’, translating to ‘Good Country’ in Guguu Yimidhirr. Currently, so called "Australian" land is constantly being harassed by mining companies, fracking and is seen as a resource to help the Australian economy. In many ways my artwork is reflection and imagination of land that is nourished and cared for. Where our native flora and fauna can thrive, where an abundance of insects and animals can flourish and there is harmony between man and land.

This piece was created on Gimuy Walubara Yidinji in Cairns, QLD.
